OPINION: I'm not a great fan of this specific social network. However I do consider Twitter as a fast and effective way to communicate news all around the world in seconds. In my opinion, the use of Twitter could be dangerous as you reveal to much information about yourself and what you are doing. On the other hand, if you are careful, and harmless to other people, then Twitter could be a great experience to enjoy yourself and stay in touch with the people you care or admire.
